Extensibility Matters. Two years ago, I wrote that **PostgreSQL is eating the database world**. The argument was simple: PostgreSQL wins through extensibility. It lets the ecosystem move quickly, without forcing every new idea into core. That is the superpower. But it also creates a practical problem. If PostgreSQL grows through extensions, then extension delivery becomes part of the system. Extensibility alone is not enough. An extension only matters when it can be found, installed, and trusted. That is why I began collecting and packaging extensions.
